thisurljusthadtogo asked: I did a paper about the banning of Pokemon in schools in the 90's about a year ago and there was quite a lot of information on that topic so there should be even more on the entire phenomenon. Plus it game me reason to watch some banned episodes of it and call it research.
The more I think about a Pokémon dissertation, the more that it makes absoloute fucking sense.
You gotta write about something you love, but also something you can research and learn more about.
I’ve got video games, card games, toys, books, mangas, tv shows, movies, spin-off games, spoofs, rip-offs to talk about… and they all sort of suddenly appeared within the space of a few...
So… could I write my dissertation on the original Pokémon phenomenon of the 90s?

I read a post about male privelidge that really annoyed me and was very untrue and unfair but I know if I made a ranty post or reply about it I’d get shot down my social justice knob-ends and be called sexist or something and I’m not in the mood. It’s happened before.

Sherlock is one of those shows, unfortunately, where I can’t watch it because the fandom has actively ruined it for me. Tumblr can be dangerous, sometimes.
I’m afraid this is very true.
