The more I think about a Pokémon dissertation, the more that it makes absoloute fucking sense.
You gotta write about something you love, but also something you can research and learn more about.
I’ve got video games, card games, toys, books, mangas, tv shows, movies, spin-off games, spoofs, rip-offs to talk about… and they all sort of suddenly appeared within the space of a few months from the mythical land of Japan.
It was insane. So many stories of stuff that happened. Controversy about them being banned in schools.
The myths about the evolved forms of Charizard, the glitches and cheats in the game. The playground stories and lies about finding Mew, etc.
There is SO much to discuss.
